The Shingle Speed Tab now has even more functionality! Hanging Christmas lights just got easier.
This new clip is designed for use with traditional C7, C9 Christmas Christmas bulbs and cords, and C6, C7 and C9 LED plug-and-play light strands for installation along the edge of a shingled roof.
For incandescent glass C7 and C9 bulbs, screw your bulbs into their sockets through the tabs while you are on the ground, test them, then install them at your roof’s edge quickly and cleanly.
Insert the C6, C7 and C9 LED lenses through the opening in the clip – you may need to twist the clip slightly – and click them into place in the smallest circle at the base of the clip.
The slot at the bottom of the opening of the clip is designed to allow the tab to be flexed enough to insert a larger C7 or C9 LED bulb in a plug-and-play string. It is not the right size to snugly hold a smaller LED mini lights set or incandescent mini lights string.
Note, this is a rigid clip – do not attempt or anticipate that you will be able to insert a glass bulb through the clip opening.
At the end of the season, removal is easy and quick.
